REMEMBERING MAT KILAU ...

On the day Friday, December 26, 1969, the country was shocked when an old man known as Mat Siam, creating an open admission that he actually MAT KILAU, children Pahang is famous for its grandeur and courage against the British in the late 19th century and the beginning of the century -20.

This declaration was a tumultuous crowd that the Pahang government set up a committee to investigate. The committee was formed on January 8, 1970. Some people were interviewed to prove that it is Mat Mat Siam Glamour.

After CERTIFIED, then at 10.30am the day Thursday, August 6, 1970, Mat Siam declared Mat Glamour by Pahang Menteri Besar, YAB Tan Sri Haji Yahaya Mohd Seth. But four days after the announcement of the recognition of himself made, Mat Glamour died due to ill health. He was then believed to be 122 years old.

WHO MAT KILAU NI?

Now the younger generation may only have read stories in history textbooks. And I'm not surprised if there were confused between Mat Glamour and roll king Datuk M. David Shine!

The story of their struggle to fight the British colonialists in the late 19th century and early 20th century is unmatched in upholding the dignity of the nation from further manipulated.

Mat Glamour with his father Elephants and other militant leaders including Datuk Bahaman, Wang Nong, Teh Ibrahim Haji Wahid Mat, Mat Lela and Haji Mat Nor never knew tired-tired against colonial rule with the nature of their four bones.

Mat Glamour and Elephants had dug a deep moat and tall palm trees along 300 meters of the 2,000 British soldiers face the attack with the help of Sikh and Gurkha mercenaries in 1892. After failing to capture the village, the British acted brutally burned the whole village in the month of Ramadan causing about 300 people were killed.

Sultan of Kelantan was threatened by the king of Siam to arrest Mat Luster, who was hiding in Hulu Kelantan if you do not want something bad happens to the land.

With the wisdom of the Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Mansur, Mat Glamour was declared dead when he was arrested in 1895 and placed the coffin BANANA STEM subsequently grown in Bunut Payong in the state.

Mat Glamour actually did not die otherwise itinerant everywhere to avoid detection including Kampung Jambu, Patani; Kuala Berang, Terengganu and finally in Batu Lima.
